PURPOSE:To eliminate massive dropping or flushing by providing a screw conveying granular substance and furnishing the discharge opening of a screw feeder with a net. CONSTITUTION:The supply device for granular substance is constituted by furnishing the discharge opening of the screw feeder provided with the screw for conveying granular substance with the net. As for the material of net, stainless steel wire, copper wire and steel wire plated with nickel are preferably. As for the method of fixing the net to the cylinder of screw feeder, the method of welding along the periphery of cylinder, etc, are used in the case of metallic net. The angle with which net is fixed is 0-45 deg. to the vertical axis of the cylinder of screw feeder, and 5-50 deg. is preferable. |
