<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the gas-liq. contact efficiency of the title packing by combining many ceramic bar-shaped bodies inclined to the axis of a packed tower to obtain an assembly wherein many voids through which a fluid circulates are formed between the respective bar-shaped bodies and using the assembly as the packing. CONSTITUTION:Innumerable fine particles are adhered to the surface of a round bar to form a rugged surface. The obtained round bars 11 and 12 are arranged at a specified inclination to the axis of the packed tower, at prescribed intervals, and almost in parallel. The round bars 11 and 12 are crossed at a symmetrical angle, and the intersections are bonded by an adhesive. Accordingly, since the packing has a three-dimensional reticular internal structure and has many voids, the gas-liq. contact efficiency can be enhanced. In addition, a ceramic material is used for the round bar.</p> |
