PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a cooling plate having a large area, good cooling characteristics at a low cost with ease by combining thin plates and pipes together and welding them air-tightly to form a passage structure and disposing the passage structure in dies to cast a flat cooling plate. CONSTITUTION:For manufacturing a passage structure 21, pipes 22 of stainless steel and plates 23 of stainless steel are combined together, and they are welded air-tightly to form passages 24 in parallel to each other and also to form passage heads 25. After the passage heads parts 25 of the passage structure 21 are connected with pipes 27 for leading in and out cooling medium, and the passage structure 21 is disposed in dies, where fused stainless steel is poured for casting, and the passage structure 21 is covered with a matter 28 of stainless steel and a cooling plate A formed flat as a whole is obtain. Thus passages can be formed easily even if the passages are long or complicated, and a cooling plate A with good cooling characteristic can be manufactured at a low cost. |
