PURPOSE:To make it possible to completely waterproof a base plate and to improve the antirust property of the air conditioner by providing a discharge opening part of a blast fan for a condenser in opposite to the outdoor side of the air conditioner, and providing on the lower wall a water saucer inclined to the lower side toward the outdoor side from the main body and at the lower part of a condenser. CONSTITUTION:A discharge opening part 11 of a blast fan for a condenser is disposed at a position lower than a suction opening part 12. The lower wall 11a of the discharge opening part 11 of the blast fan for the condenser opening on the outdoor side has a downward inclination toward the outdoor side from the main body. On the discharge opening part 11, a water saucer 13 for the condenser is disposed. By this arrangement, rain water invading through a condenser 14 is guided to the water saucer 13 and discharged through a drain port 13a to the outdoors. Rain water invading through the discharge opening part 11 of the blast fan 6 for the condenser gathering at the lower wall 11a, flows toward the outdoor side because the wall 11a has an inclination and is drained. Therefore, no rain water invades into a base plate 1 and the antirust performance of the air conditioner can be improved. |
