PURPOSE:To improve the resolution of a Y signal and to decrease the color bleeding of a C signal by making both the Y signal and the C signal into a high band, providing a pole in a phase correction and trap-attenuating an unnecessary signal mutually. CONSTITUTION:An FM modulated Y signal is added through an HPF 20, an amplifier 21, an LPF 22 and an amplifier 23 to an MIX circuit 6 and further, added through a frequency characteristic correcting circuit 7 to the MIX circuit 6. Here, a Y1 characteristic due to the HPF 20 and a Y2 characteristic due to the LPF 22 are added and come to be a general Y characteristic Y3. Thus, a high resolution Y signal is obtained in which the decreasing component of the FM side band of the Y signal is emphasized and corrected. Next, the low area converted C signal is added through an LPF 24, an amplifier 25, a phase correcting circuit 26 and an amplifier 27 to the MIX circuit 6. Thus, since a chroma band is spread, and close to the Butterworth characteristic of the amplitude constant and phase constant, the color bleeding is eliminated.
