AUTOMATIC WAVEFORM EQUALIZING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To eliminate an interference without using correlation calculation by identifying and reproducing tentatively a digital signal having an inter-code interference as a code 1 or 0 and sampling and holding the signal independently from a threshold value at each identifying point to the peak of each signal depending on the polarity of the code and taking a sum signal. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation circuit 25 delivers a system clock required to activate an equalizer. Outputs of counters 24, 23 are given to a DA converter in the inside of a transversal filter 1. Then the output signal of the transversal filter 1 is subjected to identification and recovery again by a comparator 2 to recover 1 or 0 data series in response to the original code. The data series and the result fed to an inverting circuit 28 are fed to transformers 31, 32 respectively to switch a diode bridge. An output signal of the transversal filter 1 is fed to the diode bridge via a relay line 35 and sampled and held. The output signal is added by an adder 6 and the result is subjected to full wave rectification by two differential amplifiers 33, 34.
