PURPOSE:To improve anti-corrosion characteristic, durability and thermal conducting characteristic and to restrict a reduction in a thermal efficiency of a heat exchanging plant by a method wherein a coating film having a specified amount of thickness having silicone resin as its base material is formed in the inner surface of a copper or copper alloy pipe. CONSTITUTION:A film of coating material having silicone resin as a base material is formed to have a thickness of 5-20 mum on the inner surface of a copper or copper alloy pipe, thereby a substantial similar anti-corrosion and durability are attained and a far superior thermal conducting performance is also attained as compared with the case that a coating film such as alkid resin, epoxy resin, fluorine resin, polyurethane resin, vinyl resin and acryl resin coatings proposed in prior art.
