PURPOSE:To easily make miniature recording containing initial print data, such as a logographic nameplate, conference room number, etc., any time, by providing a storing means which stores and holds initial print data written in or stuck to a designated area on a writing medium. CONSTITUTION:A white sheet 36 has an effective writing area 36A having a width (a) and an initial print area 37 is provided above the area 36A. The area 37 has the same length as the width (a) of the area 36A in the longitudinal direction of the sheet 36. Initial print data are stuck to or written in the area 37. The initial print data on the white sheet 36 are stored in an initial print image memory circuit 31 by means of an address converting circuit 32 and, at the same time, recorded in the area outside a recording area 38. Thus an initial miniature record is obtained. As occasion demands, the initial print data stored in the initial print image memory circuit 31 and picture data stored in an image memory circuit 18 are combined through the key operation of an operating section 34 and a miniature record containing the initial print data, such as conference room number, etc., is obtained.
