Synthetic leather made of foamed plastic

Leather is bonded to a wood (deriv.) without using any adhesive by contacting the leather and wood and subjecting the bonding zone to a pressure of at least about 30 bar and a temp. of 60-210 deg. C for at least 10 seconds, followed by cooling to room temperature. The entire process is ocnducted in an oxygen poor environment.
