A handle assembly is disclosed comprising a lever handle 10, an attachment plate 11 and a spindle 12 which is non-rotatably connected to the lever handle. The spindle runs through the attachment plate and is rotatably journalled in it as well as adapted to cooperate with bolt means for e.g. a door. The spindle has a flange 16 which is housed within a space in the attachment plate and is provided with circumferential notches for cooperation with latch means. Lever handle 10 is detachably connected to the spindle 12 via connection means 13. The attachment plate is provided with at least one opening 15a for connection of the latch means, the plane of said opening being transverse to the longitudinal axis of the spindle. <IMAGE> |
