PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for using a compressor, etc. and make a device compact by adjusting the vertical movement of a compressing device to get pressures suited to various base materials by the action of a torque limiter on which a timer is set, in a motor-driven variable pressure device for compressing the flower leaf of an artificial flower. CONSTITUTION:Depressing a foot switch, a motor 1 is rotated and, by the action of a torque limiter 4, a vertically movable shaft 5 is lowered to compress the flower leaf of an artificial flower at a pressure suited to its base material. The shaft 5 is operated when a timer is set. And, by setting a temperature, heat is transferred to the flower leaf, which is compressed by lowering the shift 5. Also, the stroke of the vertical movement of the shaft 5 can be adjusted. The pressure by means of the torque limiter 4 is also adjustable.
