PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of vapor-lock, by a method wherein a vapor bleed passage, in which an on-off valve device is located, is formed between a fuel route, formed on the downstream of a pump part and positioned upwardly, in the direction of gravity, of the pump part, and a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:A vapor bleed passage 18, in which an on-off valve device 17 is located, is formed between a fuel route, formed on the downstream of a pump part 2 and upwardly, in the direction of gravity, of the pump part 2, and a fuel tank. When fuel is about to pass, a liquid pressure exerted on a valve body 21 closes a gas outlet 23 against the energizing force of a spring 27. This constitution enables fuel steam to be effectively discharged in the fuel tank.
