PURPOSE:To immediately perform an exceptional processing without waiting for absent memory data to memory request by controlling a processor so that the memory request is not issued if segment boundary crossing occurs at the time of address calculation. CONSTITUTION:When segment boundary crossing occurs by information set to a request code register 10, a memory buffer control part does nothing because a request representative is '0'. Meanwhile, the start address of a microprogram on a signal line 105 is set to a microprogram address register 8, and the segment boundary crossing signal on a signal line 113 is set to a flip flop 9. A microprogram control part receives this signal to start the microprogram. Thus, the flip flop 9 is referred to test whether segment boundary crossing occurs or not, and the exceptional processing is immediately performed when segment boundary crossing occurs.
