PURPOSE:To improve the processing capacity of a system by specifying the sending source of an interrupting request with the execution instruction of one condition enquiring processing and reporting the address of an input output device and the contents of an interrupting request to a data processor. CONSTITUTION:When an input output device 3 executes the interrupting request through an input output controller 2 to a data processor 1, the data processor 1 gives the execution instruction of a condition enquiring processing to the input output controller 2. To one instruction, the input output controller 2 executes successively the condition enquiry to plural following input output device 3, specifies the sending source of the interrupting request and reports the address of the input output device 3 and the contents of the interrupting request to the data processor 1. Thus, the number of times of issuing the input output instruction of the data processor 1, the checking processing of a response to the condition enquiring processing and the decrease in the number of times of the input output interrupting can be executed and the processing capacity is improved. |
