PURPOSE:To make efficient copying operation by providing constitution to enable an operator to make operation in a seating position and keys to permit formation of attested copies and abstracts to a 1st operation face and providing constitution suitable for operation by the operator in a standing position and keys necessary for general copying to a 2nd operation face. CONSTITUTION:This copying machine is so constituted that the machine can be operated on the two operations faces in the directions of arrows 14 and 15. The keys necessary for general copying are arranged on a main operation panel 3 provided to the operation face in the direction of the arrow 14 where the operator makes operation in the standing position. On the other hand, the operation panel 7 to be exclusively used for the operation from the direction of the arrow 15 is provided for said operation to enable the operator to make operation while seating on a chair 12, for example, to make the attested copies and abstracts; in addition, a freely attachable/detachable keyboard 5 is provided to enable the operator to make the necessary operation while seating on the chair. The paper copied by a main unit 12 is guided through a junction unit 13 connected to the discharge port thereof to a book binding machine 10 and is discharged after the paper is subjected to folding 10a, stapling 10b, printing with a printing drum and book binding in a book receiver 10d.
