PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition causing neither formation of gap between the teeth and dental restorative material nor elimination of restored teeth caused by bad adhesion, having drastically improved edge sealing properties, capable of effectively suppressing second dental carries, containing a specific styrene derivative. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition comprising a compound shown by the formula as a bondable monomer alone, generally together with a polymerizable monomer selected from styrene, acrylic acid, a derivative thereof, methacrylic acid and a derivative thereof. The amount of the compound shown by the formula added is 1-30wt.%, especially 2-15wt.% based on the other monomers. The composition has excellent adhesiveness to restorative dental materials consisting of castable ceramic such as calcium metaphosphate crystallized glass and improved adhesiveness to the teeth and restored teeth comprising alloy, ceramic and composite resin.
