PURPOSE:To permit efficient execution of an image recording stage by providing a pair of press rollers to an image recorder and providing a pressure releasing mechanism for parting either of the press rollers from the other roller to said device. CONSTITUTION:2nd holder parts 83a, 83b of 2nd supporting plates 72a, 72b are pressed and energized toward 1st holders 82a, 82b of 1st supporting plates 68a, 68b by springs 90a, 90b. The 2nd press roller 80 is, therefore, brought into pressurized contact with the 1st press roller 74 by the repulsive forces of the springs 90a, 90b under the prescribed pressurizing force. The pressure releasing mechanism 94 for parting the 2nd press roller 80 from the 1st press roller 74 forcibly in the event of defective conveyance of a photosensitive material A and image receiving paper C between the respective press rollers 74 and 80 is thereupon provided to a pressurizing unit 66. This mechanism 94 includes a lever 96. A revolving shaft 98 is engaged via a ratchet 97 to the end of the lever 96. This shaft 98 is supported by the 1st supporting shafts 68a, 68b and is fitted with a 1st gear 100. A 2nd gear 102 intermeshed therewith is fitted to a revolving shaft 104.
