PURPOSE:To improve strength, by a method wherein the moving stay and the pipe of an electric fan are integrally formed, and the moving stay is made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A stationary stay 7 is erected on the upper surface of a base 4 made of synthetic resin, and a pipe 10 made of a metal and a moving stay 8, inserted outwardly of the pipe, are inserted into the stationary stay. The upper ends of the pipe 10 and the moving stay 8 are respectively mounted to a holding tool 34 for integral formation. The moving stay 8 is vertically slidably mounted in a bush 31, and a neck support 41 to support a motor part is mounted to a holding tool 34. This constitution improves strength of the moving stay, and enables execution of an arbitrary design.
