摘要 PURPOSE:To satisfactorily execute a curve traveling at the time of backward traveling without a servocontrol by detecting an induced band provided at the time of backward traveling in a turn radius smaller than that corresponding to the maximum steering angle of a one-wheel driving tire and outputting an operating signal to a steering driving means. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected by an induced band detecting means 9 that at the time of the backward raveling, an automatically guided vehicle comes to the curve of a dielectric 1, the steering signal is outputted from the induced band detecting means 9 to a steering driving means 7. The one-wheel driving tire is steered and driven by the steering driving means in accordance with the turning to the right or the left of the curve of the dielectric 1. such a steering of the one-wheel driving tire is stopped mechanically by a steering angle control means 14 and the steering angle of the one-wheel driving tire is limited and held to the maximum steering angle. In this situation, since the turn radius of the induced band 1 is smaller than that one corresponding to the maximum steering angle of the one-wheel driving tire, the automatically guided vehicle can be traveled in the turn radius corresponding to the maximum steering angle of the one-wheel driving tire.
