发明名称 GAS FLOW VELOCITY MEASURING APPARATUS AT BLAST FURNACE GATE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To always measure flow velocity of a gas at a blast furnace gate accurately with ease, by arranging a furnace diameter-wise drivable lance an a lance controller to stop the lance at a desired measuring point in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus comprises a furnace diameter-wise scannable lance 1, a driver 2 thereof 1, a microwave radar 3 carried at the tip of the lance 1 and a signal processor 4 thereof. By moving the lance 1 with the driver 2 radially within a furnace 6, a desired measuring point can be selected within the furnace and the lance 1 is stopped to a measuring position by a set time to emit a microwave to a charge 7. A scattering wave due to dust is mixed with a part of a transmission wave and detected with a detector 34 to obtain a Doppler signal with the frequency proportional to dust flow velocity. Then, the dust flow velocity Vs is calculated from a frequency component of the Doppler signal thereby obtaining a dust flow velocity distribution in the direction of a microwave beam at a measuring point.</p>
