摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently measure a shape without need for resetting after machining a workpiece and reduce a floor space by providing a probe device for measuring the geometrical form of a workpiece and a device for measuring the relative movement distance with respect to said workpiece. CONSTITUTION:After forming a hole on a workpiece W, an end mill 23 is removed and a probe device 3 is mounted on a spindle 20. And, the connecting line of a probe 60 and the connecting line of an actuator 61 are electrically connected to a data processing part via connectors. Then, servo-motors 31, 30, 24 are operated based on the geometrical form measuring program of the data processing part and the probe 60 is moved while being in contact with the top face of the workpiece 60 and the face of its hole. And, the data processing part determines the geometrical form of the workpiece based on the moving distance and contact/non-contact information. Thereby, it is not necessary to provide two machines of a machining center and a three dimensional measuring machine enabling a floor space to be reduced.
