PURPOSE:To prevent a mirror from breaking or damaging by inserting a mirror enclosed with a sealing material and retaining only a sealing material part. CONSTITUTION:A laser mirror 2 is enclosed with a sealing material 4 having U-shaped circular section closely contacted at the periphery and flexibility, and so set in size as to sufficiently contact with the periphery of the mirror and the inner surface of U-shaped material 4. The mirror 2 enclosed with the material 4 is contained in a mirror mount 1, which is contacted only with the material 4. Retaining fittings 3 are contacted from above only with the material 4 similarly to the mount 1, and clamped by clamping screws 5. Thus, the mirror 2 is not contacted directly with the mount 1 or the fittings 3, but enclosed with the material. Accordingly it is not externally clamped to prevent it from deforming due to thermal expansion, breaking or damaging. |
