PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain excellent magnetic characteristics by a method wherein the powder of permanent magnet material and resin powder are mixed, the powder raw material is put into a metal mold, and pressure is applied to the material while supersonic waves are being applied to it. CONSTITUTION:The powder of permanent magnet material and resin powder are mixed, this powder raw material is put in a metal mold 2, and pressure is applied to the raw material 6 while supersonic vibrations are being given. Rare-earth element, iron and borron are used as the material for the permanent magnet, and cobalt may be contained therein as occasion demands. Also, at least a kind of element selected from rare-earth elements and cobalt, and at least a kind of element selected from iron, copper and zirconium may be contained as occasion demands. Accordingly, the density and the dimensional accurey of the manufactured plastic permanent magnets are enhanced, and the the direction of axis of easy magnetization comes easily coincide with a fixed direction due to the supersonic vibrations. As a result, excellent magnetic characteristics can be obtained. |
