<p>PURPOSE:To automatically control tracking with a high precision at the time of reproducing by quantitatively giving a rank to the change of a reproduced signal output for the change of a tracking value and discriminating this rank at the time of reproducing. CONSTITUTION:A rank is given to the output proportional to reproduced signals from rotary heads 2 and 3 in accordance with its levels, and this rank is discriminated at the time of reproducing to control servo system circuits 10, 11, and 12. Consequently, the change of the reproduced signal output for the change of the tracking value is quantitatively recognized and patterned by ranking the reproduced signal output, and this pattern is stored. Thus, automatic control of tracking or the like at the time of reproducing is easily and accurately performed.</p> |
