PURPOSE:To prevent a stereoscopic video disk record from being mistaken as a video disk record by alternately recording video signals for right eyes and for left eyes in respective duplex spriral like recording tracks. CONSTITUTION:The duplex spiral like recording tracks T1 and T2 are formed in the video disk record D, and the video signal for left eye of a continuous line and the video signal for right eye of a dotted line are alternately switched and recorded in respective tracks at every field. When either of the recording tracks is continuously reproduced by the video disk player of one beam, the duplex image is projected on a monitor and a user is made to recognize that the stereoscopic video disk record is being reproduced. When identification signals for the right eye and for the left eye which are multiplexed in a vertical blanking period are detected, and the shutter of a stereoscopic television glasses is driven, the stereoscopic video can be appreciated. |
