<p>PURPOSE:To enable a user to grasp the total quantity of sentences by displaying the quantity of sentences to be processed, the quantity of processed sentences and the quantity of sentences under processing. CONSTITUTION:The sentences supplied to an input/editing means 1 are stored in an input character memory means 2 and then displayed. When the number of a sentence under processing is put into a present processing sentence buffer, the present processing state is displayed based on the value of the buffer. Thus the time needed until the end of processing is estimated and therefore it is possible to decide to perform another job or to wait.</p> |
