PURPOSE:To prevent dusts and to save a space, by providing a load means for keeping a work carrier at a lift position and providing a push-down means with an angle change position in the aforesaid mechanism in a cathode ray tube manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:Usually, a work carrier 5 is held at a lift position by a load means composed of a balance weight 10 and a spring 11. When a rotary table 1 is positioned at an angle change position of the work carrier 5, a cylinder 12 is actuated to push down the work carrier to a lowering position shown by a two-dot-and-dash line. With the arrangement, an angle change rail is not necessary, dusts are prevented and a space is saved.
