PURPOSE:To feed automatically originals in a desired sequence by making a judgement about the selection of an original stack part and the number of originals to be fed on the basis of sheet information from a central original stack part. CONSTITUTION:The instruction signal (a) of the first mode setting means 41a detects information on a card fed from an original stack part, and changes over the original stack part for feeding originals from the first original stack part to another original stack part on the basis of a detected result. The instruction signal (b) of the second mode setting means 41b changes over the original stack part and the number of originals on the basis of information preliminarily programmed for selecting the original stack part and information about the number of originals, respectively as sheet information. The instruction signal (c) of the third mode setting means 41c is capable of setting the program selectively in advance. A feed control means 45 outputs feed instruction signals (f), (g) and (h), selectively, depending upon the mode setting status of the mode setting means 41 and a detected signal (e) sent from an information setting means 43. When the mode 3 has been selected, the feed instruction signals (f), (g) and (h) are selectively sent, according to the program.
