PURPOSE:To stabilize the effect of agitation by providing a liquid agitating device constituted of a liquid agitator with a liquid surface sensing section and a control means to fix the distance between the agitator and the liquid by means of a signal from the liquid surface sensing section. CONSTITUTION:While an agitator 10 is put in a liquid agitating container 5 and air (a) is blown out of an air plenum 12, air (a) is sucked in from a suction hole 13. The air (a) blown out of the air plenum 12 passes along the inner wall surface of the container 5, passes over the liquid surface 6a of reacting liquid 6 and forms a flow heading for the suction hole 13. At that time, the air plenum 12 and the suction hole 13 are away from the liquid surface 6a by a fixed distance because of the action of a liquid surface sensing section 14, a control section 15 and a drive mechanism 16, and as blowing and sucking of air (a) are carried out forcibly, a space encircled by the agitator 10 and the liquid surface 6a forms a stabilized air flow regardless of the volume of reacting liquid 6. |
