<p>Hydrometallurgical process for separating out and enriching gold, platinum and palladium and obtaining selenium from the anode slurry of copper electrolyses and similar raw materials which, in addition to silver, may also contain lead, gold, platinum metals, Se, Te, Sb, As, Bi, Cu, Ni, Zn, Fe, sulphate, chloride, BaSO4, silica and the like, the filtrate which is obtained after the chlorination being mixed at room temperature with an excess of gaseous chlorine in order to completely convert the Se<IV> into Se<VI>, then the gold being precipitated at room temperature or low heat using suitable reducing agents, and, after a defined quantity of Se<IV> has been added, the platinum metals also being reductively precipitated out of this acidic solution, after which the precious metal cement which has been precipitated in this way is filtered out, while the selenium which is present in the cement filtrate as Se<VI> is converted into Se<IV> by heating in hydrochlorinic acid solution, is quantitatively precipitated as pure selenium by the addition of suitable reducing agents and is separated from the filtrate by filtration.</p> |
