PURPOSE:To ensure the easy transhipment of containers by providing guide rails on the load-carrying platform of a truck and the rack of a freight car, positioning the platform and the rack in parallel with each other and guiding a skid on container bottom along the guide CONSTITUTION:A truck 2 is positioned side by side with a freight car 3, the load-carrying platform of the truck 2 is made even with the rack 30 of the freight car 3 and guide rails 21 and 31 are arranged. Then, a projection device 24 is extended to come in contact with the freight car 3. Thereafter, a wire rope is taken out from the electric winch 22 of the truck 2 and connected to a container hook. And when the winch 22 has been driven, a skid on container bottom slides within the guide rails 21 and 31 laid on the load-carrying platform 30 of the truck 2 and the rack 30 of the freight car 30, thereby enabling the motion of containers between the truck 2 and the freight car 3 for transhipment. According to the aforesaid constitution, the containers can be transhipped from a given position in a short time and safely.
