PURPOSE:To certainly prevent the empty operation of a water feed pump, by detecting the pressure of the emitted water from the water feed pump by a pressure switch to continue and stop the operation of the water feed pump. CONSTITUTION:When a water feed pump 15 is operated in such a state that the quantity of water in a replenishing water tank 14 is sufficient, the pressure of the emitted water from said pump 15 becomes 0.3-0.4kg/cm<2>G. Thus, a pressure switch 28 turns ON and its operation is continued to supply water to a water feed tank 8. When the water feed pump 15 is operated in such a state that a required amount of water is not secured in the replenishing water tank 14 or there is no water in said tank at all, the pressure switch 28 is turned OFF to stop the water feed pump 15. At this time, the water in a water feed pipe 16 is discharged to a drain pipe 23 through a fine pipe 29 and the head H corresponding to the height of a thermostatic and humidistatic tank does not act on the pressure switch 28; therefore, the pressure switch 28 is accurately operated to stop the water feed pump 15.
