A tie bar for fixing large handles includes two rods 1, 2 which are threaded at one of their ends 1a, 2a in a way so as to correspond with a hole 3 in the core 4 of the respective handle; said rods 1, 2 are provided, at their other ends, with a shank 6 of smaller diameter and, respectively, with a hole 7 which are threaded so as to correspond to one another; the said pierced rod 2 is of polygonal external shape so as to be combined with a washer 9 interposed between the wall 10 of the opening frame 11 and the respective handle 5 and is provided with at least one radial manoeuvring hole 12; the winding angle of the helix of the said shank 6 and at least of the threaded end 2a of the rod 2 correspond to one another and the pitch of the helix of the said shank 6 is less than that of the threaded end 2a. <IMAGE>
