PURPOSE:To decide picture definition universally, by supplying a bit of picture definition information to an office computer variably. CONSTITUTION:A means 2 which receives variable picture definition information by a communication line, etc., and a means 4 which defines a picture based on the information are provided. In other words, the office computer 1 receives picture information from the communication line, a floppy 6, and an input/output device 7, etc., and outputs the information to a picture information file 3 by a picture information receiving means 2. Next, the computer defines the picture by a picture definition means 4 based on the information of the picture information file 3, and outputs it to a picture file 5. In such a way, it is possible to define the picture universally by changing the way of supplying the bit of picture information.
