摘要 The invention relates to line-by-line scanning and/or illumination of surfaces having optical waveguides which, at least in the region of their ends, are arranged in parallel in a holder and whose scanning or illuminating end sides lie on a line and whose other end side is connected to an opto-electronic device for converting light into electric pulses at whose circuit output electrical pulses appear in a timed sequence as information on the image contents of the surface at the respectively scanned point when a surface image is displaced in relation to the scanning end sides of the optical waveguides, or is connected to an illumination device. The object of the invention is to arrange optical waveguides, which are arranged on a group basis in holders, in a device for line-by-line scanning of the contents of surface images in such a way that in the scanning lines no intermediate spaces can be detected between the adjacent holders in the reproduced surface image. The invention achieves this in that the optical waveguides are combined to form a plurality of groups of one holder each, in that each holder is arranged with one group of optical waveguides offset parallel in the advancing direction with respect to the adjacent holder of a further group.
