PURPOSE:To tighten a cover, pump casing and a housing favourably by installing an elastic part made of the plastic member softer than the plastics which forms the pump cover and the housing, onto one edge peripheral edge of the pump housing. CONSTITUTION:The whole of a pump is constituted of a pump part 1, discharge part 2, and a motor part 3 in a housing 22. In the housing 22, the diameter of each of the upper and lower peripheral edges is contracted, and the bent parts 46 and 13 for fixation are formed, and used also as the yoke in the motor part 3. In this case, an annular elastic member 50 made of the elastic material softer than the plastic material which forms a pump cover 6 and a pump casing 17 is installed between the bent part 13 of fixation at the lower edge peripheral part of the housing 22 and the pump cover 6. Therefore, the tightening force applied onto the pump cover 6 and the pump casing 17 can be tightened properly, and the stable tightening is permitted.
