PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of a short-circuit phenomenon between an outer can and a terminal board entirely from the structural viewpoint and, what is more, dispense with a beading part as well as aim at improvement in the appearance of an outer package, by forming a ring flange part, engaging an opening edge of the outer can, solidly in the top of a rising part of a gasket. CONSTITUTION:In case of the cartridge cell, setting up a terminal board 14 laminately at the inside of an opening surface of an outer can 10 via a sealing gasket 12, bending an opening edge of the outer can 10 inward together with a rising part 12a of an peripheral edge of the gasket 12, rolling it in the peripheral side of the terminal board 14, and sealing an interspace between the outer can 10 and the terminal board 14 into an insulated state, a ring flange part 12b to be engaged with the opening edge of the outer can 10 is solidly formed in the top of the rising part 12a of the gasket 12. At time of bending, the opening edge of the outer can 10 is bent in a state of being engaged with the flange part 12, and downward pressurizing force against the gasket 12 is offset by the frange part 12b, whereby it is prevented from shifting into the lower side. In addition, there is unnecessary to form a beading part in the outer can, thus good appearance is securable. |
