PURPOSE:To provide such a system as to produce uniformly twisted high-quality spun yarn by feeding a staple fiber bundle subjected to draft with a separate yarn at both specified position and angle followed by twisting these yarns with an air jet nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The objective system to produce uniformly twisted high-quality spun yarn by feeding, a staple fiber bundle 1 subjected to draft at a draft section made up of a pair of back rollers 5, a pair of middle rollers 6 and a pair of front rollers 7, with a separate yarn 8 near the pair of front rollers 7 through the exit 10 of a guide 9 followed by supplying the both yarns to an air jet nozzle 3 to perform twisting is so constructed that, for the purpose of the feeding of the yarn 8, said exit 10 is provided at such position and angle that an air flow fed to the guide 9 and blown through the exit 10 has no adverse effect on said staple fiber bundle and also said yarn 8 can twist around the above bundle. |
