PURPOSE:To increase reliability, by providing a current detector to a short- circuit circuit of a DC reactor, operated by a thyristor, to decide whether the short-circuit circuit of the DC reactor is normal or not by the output of the current detector. CONSTITUTION:A current type inverter system elevator controller is constituted of the transistors 1-6 as well as the diodes 7-12 of a converter unit, the transistors 13-18 as well as the diodes 19-24 of an inverter unit, a DC reactor 25, a filter capacitor 26 and the like while the controller drives a motor 31 for driving an elevator. In this case, overvoltage detectors 32, 33 of the output side of the converter and the input side of the inverter, current transformers 34, 39, current detectors 35, 40, a thyristor 36 and the ignition circuit 38 of the thyristor 36 are added. In this controller, decision whether the short-circuit circuit of the DC reactor 25, operated by the thyristor 36, functions normally or not is effected by a method wherein the main circuit of the inverter is conducted for trial and the current of the DC reactor is circulated to the short- circuit circuit of the thyristor while the current is detected by the current detector 40. When the decision indicates abnormality, the controlling device is stopped. |
