摘要 PURPOSE:To attain the effective use of a buffer memory of a satellite communication processor and to improve the using efficiency of a satellite like, by performing a transmission/reception buffer into a buffer group in response to the latest slot length after reception of a slot length changing request from a master station. CONSTITUTION:A slot length changing request accepting part 1 checks the propriety of the received slot length changing request and sends the slot length to a slot length holding part 2 to hole it there when the request is normal. A slot length change precessing part 3 changes the buffer length of each buffer area storing the data transmitted and received based on the slot length (the base clock number(n)). The buffer area is constant and the signal buffer length is set at (n) to reform the allocation of the buffer area. Then a buffer control table is changed. A synchronism processing part 4 produces a necessary synchronizing signal from a frame synchronizing signal and the changed slot length and gives it to a transmission/reception part.
