<p>A strand granulator, preferably for the granulation of plastics, with enhanced use of the cutting edges of the cutting rotor (1) and counter blade (2), in which the strands (3), on the one hand, and the cutting rotor and counter blade on the other, are moved relative to one another perpendicular to the direction of feed of the strands (3) and along the cutting edge of the counter blade (2), thereby imposing a uniform stress over the total width of the cutting edges.</p> |
