摘要 The present invention relates to improved cooling of coils and the laminated core of the stator of an electrical machine, especially of a turbogenerator. Such a gas-cooled stator (1) having radial slots (8) (which lie in radial planes and through which cooling gas flows) between laminated core elements (7a, 7b, 7c) which are separated by spacer webs (6) is equipped according to the invention with additional slots (9) in the teeth (3), the additional slots extending essentially in the radial and axial directions, and their inlets and outlets communicating with the radial slots. In this case, parts of the flow of the cooling gas are diverted through the additional slots (9) by means of flow guidance walls (10, 11). The flow guidance walls (10, 11) can be constructed, in particular, such that they produce a ram pressure or suction. The cooling according to the invention enlarges the cooling surface and dissipates the heat from the interior of the teeth (3) without reducing the cooling gas flow in the radial slots (8) and without weakening the tooth heads by outlet slots. <IMAGE>
