PURPOSE:To make such a gas feeding structure that is utterly nothing of damage to a hydrogen electrode and uniform in thickness attainable, by using a plate porous body which is of metal with no grain boundary and reticularly formed in a three-dimensional manner, and forming a catalytic layer and a reaction gas feed layer as one body. CONSTITUTION:Using a plate porous body which is of metal with no grain boundary and reticularly formed in a three-dimensional manner, a catalyzer is closely charged in a void of the one surface, setting it down a catalytic layer 13, and a reaction gas feed layer 14 is solidly formed in place at least the opposite surface. That is to say, a lot of cells composed of a negative electrode 12 and a positive electrode 11 consisting of the hydrogen electrode formed with the catalytic layer 13 and the reaction gas feed layer 14 solidly and a separator 15 of asbestos or the like installed between these electrodes are laminated in a pressure vessel by means of a back-to-back system. With this constitution, accuracy in thickness and size of the porous body is raised up, and the surface is smoothly finishable and, what is more, deformation of a hydrogen electrode surface, clamping ununiformity of the laminating body, contact failure between respective components, etc., are all preventable. |
