<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a double cylinder type dust precipitator having good insulation characteristic and proximity characteristic by providing an insulator chamber partitioned by means of a curved path and a partition wall in the lower part of a dust precipitation chamber and placing a high voltage generator on the outer side. CONSTITUTION:An insulator chamber 2 is provided to the lower part of a dust precipitation chamber 1, and a supporting shaft 15 of electric discharge electrodes 7 is mounted on a supporting shaft seat 14 via insulators 13. A high voltage generator 3 is provided on the outer side of the chamber 2. The boundaries between the chamber 1 and the chamber 2 are segmented by a partition wall 22 and a curved path 23. In this way, the entry of waste gases and washing water into the chamber 2 is prevented. Further, the electrodes 7 are constituted by pivitally fitting sawtooth-shaped electric discharge electrode pieces to both ends of levers, and the spacings between the electrodes 4, 5, 7 are adjusted by operating the levers 25. Thus, the wet type electric dust precipitator of double cylinder type having good insulation characteristic and good proximity characteristic, hence easy maintenance and inspection and good performance is obtained.</p> |
