PURPOSE:To recdce the insulation distance for a control element and improve the coolling effect by forming an air guide and a counter-load side bracket from resin material and arranging a control element in a partitioning chamber formed in the counter-load side bracket. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 31 revolves, a fan 39 is revolved, and air A is inhaled into the suction port 39a of the 39 from the suction port 41a of a casing 41. The air A reaches a counter-load side bracket 34 through an air guide 37 from the outer periphery of the fan 39 and cools a rotor 31, stator 36, etc., and is discharged from the exhaust port 34a of the counter-load side bracket 34 and a penetration port 55b. In this case, a control element 57 having an element for permitting the electric conduction and temperature rise can be cooled effectively by introducing the air prior to temperature rise into a partitioning chamber 55. Since the air guide 37 and the counter-load side bracket 34 are made of resin material, the insulation distance from the control element 57 can be reduced.
