PURPOSE:To easily grasp the circumstance of errors on a high rank source program by interpreting the source program generated by a high rank compiler in a low rank compiler and outputting a diagnostic message in execution, which is converted into the high rank source program, as an executed result. CONSTITUTION:An error information output means 62 shifts error information 7 consisting of an error code 71 and an error detection position 72 and control for a low rank source program 12 and a control to a conversion output means 8. The conversion output means 8 searches an error code e1 which coincides with the error code 71 from a diagnostic message in execution conversion table 9 and selects a high rank error message in execution m1 corresponding to the error code e1 and also it searches a position lj in a low rank source program which coincides with the error detection position 72 from a position information in program corresponding table 3 and selects a position uj in high rank source program corresponding to lj. Moreover, the conversion output means 8 displays the position uj in high rank source program and high rank error message in execution m1 as the error message 10 in execution.
