PURPOSE:To entirely prevent generation of film peeling during printing by incorporating a multifunctional epoxy compd. having >=3 epoxy groups in the molecule into an under coating layer adjacent to a base. CONSTITUTION:The multifunctional epoxy compd. having at least >=3 epoxy groups in the molecule is incorporated into the lowermost layer adjacent to the base of a planographic printing plate constituted by using a polyester film which is coated with an org. copolymer and is subjected to a treatment for hydrophilicity impartation and coating at least one under coating layers as well as an emulsion layer contg. silver halide and image receiving layer contg. physical development nuclei on said base. Generation of the film peeling during printing is thereby entirely prevented both in printing of a large number of sheets and printing with special ink even if an undercoated polyester film coated with the org. copolymer compsn. is used as the base of a planographic printing material utilizing a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process.
