Absorbent filling material

The filling material, which is usable as cat litter, is prepared from paper pulp or some other fibre pulp and has similar properties to filling materials based on clay. The paper pulp is first comminuted and then provided with fillers and additives to improve the appearance, the fungicidal and bactericidal properties, the absorption capacity and the ability to bind odours. The fibre pulp is made into granules and these granules are finally dried.
