PURPOSE:To obtain a sintered body having no deformation like warp other than the deformation within a surface, by sintering a compact mounted on a base stand via rolling bodies. CONSTITUTION:A compact 4 is made up in a specified form by molding rare earth material powder, and is sintered on a base stand 3. In this process, rolling bodies 11 (12) are interposed between the the compact 4 and the base stand 3. The rolling bodies have a form such as a ball 11, a roll 12 and a round rod capable of rolling on the surface. As the result, the rolling bodies roll on the base stand in accordance with the thermal deformation generating in the compact 4 at the time of sintering, and the deformation in a surface is not prevented at all, so that the deformation such as warp other than the deformation within the surface can be avoided. |
