PURPOSE:To reduce the load on an operator and to quickly restart a transaction processing by putting a terminal controller in charge of the inquiring of a processed serial number at the terminal required at the time of reraising on-line. CONSTITUTION:The terminal controller 6 which has received an on-line recovery telegram 50 from a host 1 sequentially generates an inquiry telegram for the processed serial number at the terminal 51 instead of a slave terminal 4 and transmits it to the host 1. The host 1 retrieves processed serial number data at the terminal 40 similarly to the inquiry telegram by the terminal operation, and returns to the terminal 4 a notice telegram for the processed serial number at the terminal 52 as an answer telegram. The terminal controller 6 which has received said telegram 52 transmits to the terminal 4 concerned data on processed serial number at the terminal 40 as a compulsory telegram which is to be compulsorily received. Thus, the terminal controller 6 communicates exchanges the inquiry telegram and the answering telegram with the host 1, whereby, the data 40 can speedily noticed and the operation of the operator can be reduced. |
